Born and raised in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Tasha started writing poems at the age of seven and soon began pairing melodies with her words. Singing lessons followed and from there her love of music evolved into her life’s passion.
Her progression into the Country genre was a natural one. Tasha’s songs tell stories and she uses all facets of life to inspire her writing, including her own! Her words are honest and from the heart, and when paired with her angelic voice, can be appreciated by all ages.

From the age of sixteen, Tasha started to perform live around her local area and has since had some great opportunities. One of those includes singing the Australian and American National Anthems at Rod Laver Arena in 2009 for a Monster Truck Event. She also took part in The Telstra Road To Tamworth that same year. 2010 saw Tasha working on her first project as a recording artist and in 2011 she released her debut 4 track EP titled “I Kinda Like It”. This was a great steeping stone for Tasha both personally and for her music.

In 2011, Tasha’s trip to the Tamworth Country Music Festival changed everything. There she busked with her 4 piece band and her EP was very well received. Tasha went on to spent most of 2011 recording her debut album, playing shows around Melbourne and learning guitar. In July, Tasha supported Doug Bruce and The Tailgaters on the Victorian leg of their tour. The band was also re shuffled and from mid September 2011 until mid January 2012, Tasha and her band held a residency at The Royal Hotel and popularized country music in the area.

January 2012 set the scene for the release of Tasha’s debut album “On The Run” and her second trip to Tamworth where she & her band won the Australian Busking Championship, claiming victory out of over 550 performers. A great achievement with a high caliber of performers.

Tasha’s first video clip “Time To Waste” will be appearing on CMC in early April so make sure you jump online & request her song! Help this girl from the suburbs make it into the Top 30 in Australia!

So come on and support a rising Aussie Country Star (you know you want to)!
